Your cottage has a name. Maybe it always has — passed down from whoever first cleared the lot and dragged a dock to the water. Maybe you're the ones naming it now, for the children who will inherit the summers. Either way, that name deserves to be carved into something permanent.
We work exclusively in architectural-grade Western Red Cedar and premium kiln-dried hardwoods — sourced for grain, weight, and the ability to hold a deep engraving without fracturing over time. Every slab is sealed with a multi-stage commercial marine finish rated for UV exposure and freeze-thaw cycling. No paint. No adhesive lettering. No shortcuts.
Our signs run up to 40 inches wide — scaled for stone pillars, boathouse facades, and property entrances that deserve a commanding presence. We lay out every piece by hand before the engraving begins, ensuring the proportions are balanced and the depth is consistent from edge to edge.
Studio Standards
No pine, no MDF, no composite. Western Red Cedar selected for grain density and dimensional stability.
Engraved directly into the wood surface. Permanent. Cannot peel, fade, or separate.
Commercial-grade UV finish applied in multiple coats. Rated for Ontario freeze-thaw cycles.

Submitting Your Design
To produce a razor-sharp engraving, your artwork needs to meet our studio standards. We review, scale, and optimize every file before it touches the machine — that's what the $25 CAD setup fee covers.
Vector Files — Preferred
We accept .svg, .eps, and .ai formats. All text must be converted to outlines before submission. Vector files produce the cleanest possible engraving at any scale.
Raster Images — High Resolution Only
We accept .png and .jpg at a minimum of 300 DPI at final production scale. Images must be pure black and white — no grey, no gradients, no shadows.
A flat $25 CAD artwork setup fee is processed securely via Stripe and covers our review, scaling, and optimization of your files.
